Jam tracks (aka: backing or play along tracks) are a helpful resource for practicing improvisation in different keys and in different styles. Though it isn’t the same as playing with an actual live band, you can use jam tracks for practice or when playing with the real deal isn’t as feasible.
There is a plethora of backing tracks on YouTube these days, but filtering through the bad ones can take time. Here is a recommended channel to save you from scouring the the dark corners of YouTube for good tracks.
