Traveling can be stressful at times with security checks, making sure you have the right luggage, making sure you’re at the right place at the right time, adjusting to time changes… But the rewards far exceed anything else. It’s been a couple of years since Sam and I jumped across that big blue pond, but we are excited to be headed to The Netherlands in a few days. Along with our sight seeing, we’ve packed our Journey Instruments carbon fiber collapsible guitars (this is not a sponsored post) for a performance in Amsterdam on May 9 in a renovated house boat, which we expect to be a really fun experience.
From Amsterdam, we’ll be driving through various parts of Northern Germany, Denmark, and a quick trip to Belgium with our cameras and guitars in tow, and we hope to share much of the experience with all of you internet folks. There will most certainly be several impromptu performances along the way. Check the site or Facebook page periodically over the next few weeks for updates on our journey.
If any GR readers have recommended venues, builders, or guitar shops that we should visit, please let us know in the comments below.
And now, a word from Mark Twain…
