What a Wonderful World (Thomas Viloteau)

January 4, 2018 By Sean Thrower Leave a Comment

French Guitarist Thomas Viloteau was the 2006 winner of the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, which is one of the biggest classical guitar competitions in the world. This video features his own arrangement of What a Wonderful World, originally performed by the great Louis Armstrong. He performs it on a beautiful guitar crafted by Canadian builder Mark Usherovich.

By the way, if you’ve never watched “Satchmo” sing the song himself, I challenge you to watch it without smiling; his grin is contagious.
