With an ever growing instrument and instrument accessories market, it can be a difficult task trying to keep up with all of the new products that seem to pop up every other week. Perhaps it’s how you stumbled upon our site or YouTube channel with our recent video interviews at the Winter NAMM Show this year. But another great resource for all of you great tone seekers is Pete Thorn’s YouTube channel, where he regularly shares very informative gear reviews, demos, and lessons.
Canadian born Pete Thorn has toured the world with many great artists and bands, perhaps most notably with Japanese rock icon Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, with whom he performed a concert at Mt. Fuji in front of over 100,000 fans on the biggest concert stage ever assembled in Japan. Pete’s solo album “Guitar Nerd” was released in 2011 and displays his versatility as a musician as well as his passion and skill for creating great guitar sounds.
Pete Thorn’s YouTube channel has over 120k subscribers and is a fantastic resource for learning more about different gear on the market. Many of his videos go beyond demos, where he actually walks step by step on how he creates sounds that he feels are desirable.
