A wave of sadness and reflection passed over the world upon hearing of the death of food and travel icon, Anthony Bourdain. Through his travel shows, he opened his viewers to people and cultures from all over and gave perspectives that few have ever had the opportunity to experience. Through Bourdain and his work, the distances and differences that we feel divide our own communities became smaller.
While watching various clips and interviews with Bourdain on YouTube, I stumbled upon one that I had never seen before that may doubly apply to the interests of our readers. Raw Craft is an online film series with Bourdain that, until recently, I wasn’t familiar with. In this episode from October 2016, Bourdain interviews luthier Rachel Rosenkrantz in her workshop and even helps out in the crafting of one of her instruments. As you’ll see production is spectacular, much like his CNN show Parts Unknown.
If you have interest, here’s a list of just a few of Bourdain’s well-known publications.

Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook (P.S.)
